You will be able to make intentional choices about goals, work, relationships and more.

I'm nearing the completion of my Master's Program for Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Trinity Christian College. My path to this work began when I earned my Bachelor's degree in Social Work in 2021, which led me to several years of dedicated work with families, children, and individuals through various non-profit organizations.
Beyond my academic journey, I'm also a certified doula, domestic violence advocate, and sexual assault advocate.
I use a range of therapeutic tools, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Psychodynamic Therapy. My approach to every session is centered in sensitivity and awareness, creating a supportive environment where you feel truly seen and heard no matter what you're navigating on your path to healing and growth.
When I'm not focused on counseling, you'll find me enjoying time as a mom, finding comfort in music, and relaxing in nature. I'm really looking forward to connecting with you and supporting you as you move forward.

I am currently a doctoral student in the Counselor Education and Supervision program at Governors State University, and I am excited to be completing my practicum experience at Owl Street. I have a Master's degree in School Counseling (2019) and a Bachelor's degree in psychology (2017), both from Lewis University. I decided to continue my studies this past year as my love for the mental health field has only continued to grow.
I have been serving adolescents and their families as a school counselor for over six years. This has included a variety of experiences, including anxiety, school refusal, depression, self-esteem, and interpersonal relationships. I am passionate about helping individuals find solutions and find themselves. My approach is specific to each individual I am working with, while I primarily pull skills from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy. The ultimate goal is for anyone I am helping to have a space to openly share, feel heard, and think clearer.

I believe therapy should be collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs. My goal is to help you heal, grow, and feel increasingly empowered to become a stronger, happier, and more fulfilled version of yourself. I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and understood.
I utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including mindfulness, solution-focused brief therapy, strengths-based therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I also incorporate trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, inner-child work, and self-compassion practices to help clients gain insight, build coping skills, and make meaningful, lasting changes.
I believe in meeting every client exactly where they are and allowing the therapeutic process to feel safe, grounding, and empowering. I have experience supporting individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), trauma, abuse, self-destructive behaviors, mood disorders, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), among other concerns.
I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, couples, and elderly clients from all backgrounds and identities. As a bilingual therapist (English/Spanish), I am passionate about serving Spanish-speaking individuals and families and creating culturally affirming spaces for healing.
I bring a blend of clinical expertise and heartfelt compassion into my work, helping clients feel safe enough to explore the hard things while feeling supported every step of the way. I believe in celebrating progress, honoring resilience, and helping you reconnect with your strengths—even the ones you may not see yet.
I am currently accepting new clients for individual and couple’s therapy and would be honored to support you on your journey.

As a licensed social worker and therapist. I believe therapy is not a one size fits all. I listen with empathy, creating a safe space for individuals with no judgement, while upholding the dignity of my clients. I utilize play therapy, psychodynamic therapy and other treatment modalities based on individual needs.

I obtained my BSW and MSW from Northeastern Illinois University in 2014 and 2018, where I focused on work with vulnerable populations.

I have past experience in providing couples therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. I have worked with children and adolescents between the ages of 5 -17, and adults 18+, geriatrics, and LGBTQIA youths who have experienced trauma from family, school, friends, religion and society, to navigate life the way they envisioned it.

I am a married foodie with 4 amazing kids and I love traveling to different countries, trying different foods, and open to new adventures. Don’t wait for special moments to wear that new shoe, carry that new bag or wear that new dress because every moment is special.

My background as a school social worker gives me a unique insight into the academic, social, and environmental pressures many young people face today. I have experience supporting clients with anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, grief, school refusal life transitions, and self-esteem concerns, including those on the autism spectrum.

I am passionate about making therapy accessible and supportive for all populations. I am committed to helping clients overcome barriers and achieve lasting emotional well-being.

I strive to meet each client where they are and walk alongside them at their own pace, recognizing that everyone's journey is unique.

I prioritize building strong, trusting relationships and I believe that feeling safe is the foundation of effective therapy. I am intentional about creating a welcoming, nonjudgemental space where clients feel seen, heard, and accepted just as they are.

In my free time I enjoy spending it with my family, reading, and trying new recipes in the kitchen.

I am currently a graduate student completing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Sciences in 2024. My academic journey has led me to develop an in-depth understanding of interpersonal relationships, LGBTQ+ populations, trauma-informed care, and abuse survivors. I am also well-versed in CBT, DBT, strengths-based, mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapeutic approaches.

Outside of academics, I have accumulated numerous years of experience working with multiple populations in mental health, school, and counseling-related settings. Past professional roles include supporting older school-aged children with emotional regulation and behavioral difficulties, adult populations in residential mental health settings, and younger children needing behavioral and learning support. These professional opportunities have gifted me with a wide range of experience in crisis intervention, cognitive-behavioral restructuring, neurodivergence, learning disabilities, substance abuse, and other cognitive and mental health challenges.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, caring for my dog, drawing and painting, crocheting, and going on new adventures! In addition to therapeutic tools and professional experiences, my approach is centered around individuality, sensitivity, and empowerment based on your unique experiences and goals. I am dedicated to creating a strong, collaborative, and compassionate relationship with all clients, and would be thrilled to support you on your therapeutic journey!

Counseling Intern

I am a master’s level student enrolled in the Clinical and Mental Health Counseling
program at The Chicago School and have completed all my coursework. Now all I have
left is my internship! I also completed my bachelor’s degree in psychology at Maryville
University in 2024. At the Chicago School, my program emphasizes the importance of
culture and diversity and has tailored these considerations through my education. As a
result, I believe in being culturally sensitive and mindful, and I want to do my best to
truly get to know all the aspects of your life that make you-you.
I have worked in the behavioral health field for many years, and by utilizing my
experiences as well as my education, it has led me to take a special interest in
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance
and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I believe
in creating a safe, judgment-free space where we can collaborate, and I can use my
skills to bring you closer to your goals.
In the past, I have volunteered for crisis hotlines. I firmly believe that everyone deserves
to have a safe place to be heard and supported in times of need. I have also stood up
for individuals with intellectual disabilities in the court systems when they needed
access to mental health services. I believe everyone deserves access to person-
centered care where they can receive the treatment that best serves them.
In my free time, you can typically find me spending time with my three children. We love
to go to new restaurants together or go to indoor parks. However, I do enjoy reading
and writing. I am an avid concertgoer and have been to over 100 concerts in my life.
